Plan review timeline

Town Building Permits page as checked 2026-09-03: "Our current lead-time for plan review is 4-6 weeks." Also: "Plan Review time can fluctuate daily based on current workloads as plans are typically reviewed in the order they were received." "The Town does not offer Expedited or Express Reviews, however the option for 3rd Party Plan Review has been extended as an option for New Commercial Construction projects ONLY during times when our plan review lead-times may be delayed due to high volume" — and the page states Third Party Plan Review "is not available at this time." Revisions: upload only the changed pages, clouded/bubbled; "your permit may be placed on HOLD while those revisions are being reviewed. Revisions are subject to a plan re-review fee if deemed appropriate by staff." Per § 150.002(D)(3), the initial review and one minor re-review are included; a full re-submission or substantial changes may carry additional charges.
