Town feature tags: ADA Accessible, Baseball/Softball, Basketball, Locker Room, Playground, Pool, Restrooms, Skate Park. The adjacent ballfields are commonly referred to as the Jimmy Seignious Complex and appear under that name on the town's rental fee schedule — treat the Seignious/Jones pairing as LIKELY rather than formally documented on the facility page. PROGRAMS: swim lessons, swim team, water aerobics, W.A.T.E.R. program, lifeguard certification, youth basketball, baseball/softball, plus general MPRD classes. The gym floor was replaced under a recent capital project (the town's Recreation Projects page still shows a Jones Center Gym floor project targeted for completion end of October 2024 — that page is stale, so treat as historical). likely — verify before you go
A town-owned waterfront event venue with a park, recently renovated and reopened. The 3,280-square-foot Main Hall has hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, large southern porches and Charleston Harbor views; grounds include a large outdoor patio, new sidewalks, updated landscaping with a wetland buffer, and an INCLUSIVE PLAYGROUND. Building capacity is reported at a maximum of 350, seating about 200 for a plated dinner, and the venue hosts only one event per day. Booking is separate from the MPRD rental fee schedule — Alhambra Hall does NOT appear on the town's recreation rental fee list. An all-inclusive rental fee covers the main hall, downstairs suites, ice and grounds; a reservation and damage deposit is due at booking and the balance is due no later than 30 days before the event; reduced rates are available to qualifying Mount Pleasant-based non-profit and community organizations. Capacity, deposit terms and the fee structure come from the venue's own booking site rather than tompsc.com, so verify current-year pricing by calling (843) 849-2053.
