Town FAQ: "Every permit issued shall become invalid (expired) unless the work authorized commences within 180 days after permit issuance or if there is a period of inactivity on a permit of 180 days. For permits not affected by the Building Permit Allocation Program, the Building Official is authorized to grant one or more extensions of 180 Days." Under BPAS the Town states permits not picked up and paid for within 180 days are voided and require reapplication; construction must commence within 180 days; and construction must be maintained in any rolling 180-day period.

Jim farms seven Mount Pleasant neighborhoods specifically — not “the Charleston area.” That is the whole point of this index: one agent who knows which street floods, which floor plan appraises, and what the last eleven sales actually closed at, because he keeps the record himself.
