NO PLAYGROUND. Town-listed passive park at the end of Pitt Street in the Old Village, on the site of the former bridge causeway to Sullivan's Island. It is a flat, paved out-and-back walking causeway into the marsh with harbor and creek views, fishing access and benches. FENCED: no; the causeway is open to the water on both sides, which matters with a toddler who bolts. SHADE: a stand of trees at the landward end; the causeway itself is fully exposed. RESTROOMS: none. PARKING: a small free lot at the entrance plus street parking in the surrounding neighborhood; it fills quickly. Stroller-friendly paved surface.
