Park West Recreation Complex

The town's largest recreation complex and the main public play facility north of Highway 17. Official feature list: ADA accessible, playground, restrooms, pool, basketball, baseball/softball, football, soccer, tennis, volleyball, fishing, grills, pavilion, picnic areas, walking track, walking trail, locker rooms and parking. On site are two lighted tennis courts, an activity building, an outdoor pool with shower rooms, baseball, softball, football and soccer fields, three batting tunnels, a multipurpose field, an outdoor track, a lake pavilion, an outdoor volleyball court and walking trails around the lake. FENCED: the playground is not separately enclosed; it sits within the larger complex, with fields and parking nearby. SHADE: some tree cover and the lake pavilion provide shade near the play area; the fields and track are open and exposed. RESTROOMS: restrooms and shower rooms available; access follows building hours rather than being open around the clock. Pool hours Monday-Thursday 7:00 a.m.-8:15 p.m., Friday 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m.-5:15 p.m., closed Sunday.
