Town-owned public spaces where leashed dogs are permitted under the Town leash ordinance (none are off-leash areas): Alhambra Hall park, 131 Middle Street, 29464; James B. Edwards Passive Park, 320 Royall Avenue, 29464; Hamlin Park Trail, 2334 Rifle Range Road, 29464; Fort Palmetto Park / Palmetto Fort Trail, 2301 Palmetto Fort Drive, 29464 (Town GIS: 1.17 miles, dirt, 8 ft. wide); Patriots Point Nature Trail, Patriots Point Road, 29464 (Town GIS: 0.89 miles, dirt, 8 ft. wide); Kearns Park and Kearns Park Trail, Etiwan Pointe Drive / 840 Wando Park Boulevard, 29464 (Town GIS: 0.25 miles, dirt). FEE: none at any of these. Dogs must be on leash, with a collar or harness carrying a rabies vaccination tag per Ordinance 90.54, and owners must clean up. The Town publishes no restroom, water-fountain, shade or waste-station inventory for these individual sites; Shem Creek Park and Memorial Waterfront Park are the Town park sites with restrooms listed.
