Phone (843) 849-2022, Mon–Fri 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. The TOWN collects household garbage and trash; the COUNTY collects recycling (separate entry). Garbage and trash are collected weekly on the same day, and material must be "curbside by 7 am." CARTS, published figures as of 3 Sep 2026: the Town issues one 90-gallon or one 65-gallon roll cart at no cost. "A second cart may be purchased for $70 through the Public Services Department." Maximum two carts per property, and "only Town-issued carts will be collected." SET-OUT: curbside by 7:00 a.m. with handles facing the house, a safe distance from obstructions, and carts removed within 12 hours of collection.
