College of Charleston Cougars - baseball, soccer and softball at Patriots Point

NCAA Division I, Coastal Athletic Association (CAA). The College of Charleston's outdoor athletics complex sits in Mount Pleasant, not on the downtown campus, and holds three venues plus a tennis complex: CofC Baseball Stadium at Patriots Point (opened spring 2001, $3 million renovation in 2007 that added covered seating and expanded capacity to 2,000), Ralph Lundy Field at Patriots Point (the soccer stadium, capacity 3,900 expandable to 5,000, shared with the Charleston Battery, named September 28, 2019 for longtime Cougars coach Ralph Lundy), and the softball stadium. Seasons: men's and women's soccer August through November; baseball and softball February through May. Tickets for all CofC sports are sold through the athletics ticket store (Paciolan/eVenue); some men's basketball inventory also appears on SeatGeek. Directions from the club: from Hwy 17 South in Mount Pleasant turn left onto Magrath Darby Blvd, continue through the Patriots Point Blvd intersection, complex is on the left. This is the closest Division I venue to Mount Pleasant families - it is in Mount Pleasant.
