The one genuinely NEW, actually-playing organized baseball operation found in the region. Summer collegiate wood-bat-style developmental league for current college players, college-committed graduating high school seniors, and transfers. Entering its second season in 2026 and expanding to four teams with an increased schedule; announced clubs include the Charleston Islanders, the Port City Anchors, and NC Collegiate. Season runs roughly six weeks, June through mid-July, with an 18-20 game schedule. Offers coaching, optional strength and conditioning, custom uniforms, and in-season stats coverage. This is amateur/collegiate-developmental, NOT semi-professional — players are unpaid and retain NCAA eligibility.
