Indoor multi-purpose arena, opened January 29, 1993, owned by the City of North Charleston and managed by ASM Global. Capacity 13,295 for center-stage concerts and 10,537 for hockey. Home of the South Carolina Stingrays (ECHL) and an alternate venue for Charleston Southern basketball. Hosts arena concerts, comedy, family shows and sporting events year-round, indoors, so it is not seasonal. Shares a campus with the North Charleston Performing Arts Center and the Charleston Area Convention Center. Drive from Mount Pleasant: roughly 16-19 miles via I-526 West, about 22-30 minutes outside of peak traffic.
