Indoor general-admission club one block from Charleston Music Hall, in a 16,000-square-foot 1850 train depot building; the two rooms share a box office and phone (843-853-2252). Venue-rental page states total capacity 675, with up to 250 seated depending on layout; the main floor has three levels, a private balcony, an outdoor patio, and full kitchen and bar. Founded 1991; closed for roughly two years around 2020 and reopened under the Charleston Music Hall management team. Age policy varies by show and is posted per event - late-night dance and DJ nights (Emo Night Brooklyn, Booty Bounce, Off Campus Night) are listed 18+ with 9pm doors, while most touring concerts run 6:00-7:30pm doors and are not age-restricted. Genres on the current calendar: punk and hardcore (The Bouncing Souls, The Suicide Machines), metal and post-hardcore (He Is Legend), ska/pop-punk (The Aquabats), indie rock (Kurt Vile & the Violators), electronic/rave, hip-hop and Latin nights.
