Credit One Stadium

Open-air multi-purpose stadium, opened 2001 as the Family Circle Tennis Center, later Volvo Car Stadium, renamed Credit One Stadium in 2021. A roughly $40 million renovation completed in 2022 (plus $3 million from the City of Charleston) raised capacity from 7,000 to 11,000 and added a four-story Stage House, 16 premium suites and a VIP club level; the tennis configuration is listed at 10,200 seats and the operator, Beemok Hospitality Collection, states 11,000 capacity post-renovation. Operator states the venue hosts 20+ concerts and more than 200,000 music fans per year. Concert season is branded the Lexus Concert Series and runs roughly spring through late fall, outdoors; confirmed 2026 dates on the official calendar include Hayley Williams (Sep 6), Zac Brown Band (Sep 17), James Taylor (Sep 20), Nate Bargatze (Sep 26), The Red Clay Strays (Oct 17) and Johnny Blue Skies (Oct 23), all 7:00 p.m. except Oct 23 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster (one 2026 show, Zac Brown Band, sells through Seated); the box office sits near the front entrance. General parking is free; premium parking is $25, payable by credit/debit card on the day of the event only, and free remote parking with a continuous shuttle is offered. Clear-bag policy: clear plastic/vinyl/PVC bags up to 12x12x6 inches, or one-gallon Ziploc-style bags. Age policy varies by show. The stadium is also home to the Credit One Charleston Open, a WTA 500 women's tennis tournament played on green Har-Tru clay; the 2027 tournament runs March 27 - April 4, 2027, ticketed separately at creditonecharlestonopen.com.
