Two-stage venue on James Island, directly across from the Terrace Theater; open since 2002. Reported main-stage capacity is about 450. The indoor Main Stage is standing-room-only (occasional seated shows are noted per event) and ticketed - listed prices in the current calendar run roughly $13-$40. The outdoor Deck Stage runs almost daily and is free or low-cost, with many listings marked Free and others $5-$20. Age policy differs by stage and is stated in the venue FAQ: Main Stage is 21+ with no exceptions unless a show says otherwise, and Wednesdays are 21+ on either stage; Deck shows are open to all ages with a parent, with a $5 surcharge for under-21 guests (6 and under free, 6-12 surcharge only, 13+ ticket plus surcharge). Genres it programs: bluegrass and jamgrass, jam and progressive rock, Grateful Dead tributes, Americana, blues, soul, funk and Motown. Parking is free in the venue's front and back lots with additional paid parking nearby - park at your own risk, and cars must be moved by 10am. From Mount Pleasant it is roughly 11-13 miles, about 25-30 minutes, over the Ravenel Bridge and across the peninsula to James Island.
