Where residents park free. Permits are now DIGITAL and license-plate based — no windshield decal is scanned; PCI Municipal Services reads the plate. Resident owners (property assessed at the 4% rate) and resident renters (occupying a unit more than 3 months) inside a Resident Parking District register vehicles and golf carts with the Police Department using vehicle registration and proof of residency; residents may register any car registered to the residence. Part-time resident owners (6% assessment rate) get a maximum of four residential permits. Resident and part-time resident permits carry NO FEE and allow free parking in Municipal Lots A and B on Pavilion Drive and at the IOP Marina. Hurricane re-entry stickers are mailed once a resident permit is approved. Jim Deutsch

Charleston REALTOR® · eXp Realty LLC – Charleston (SC)

Jim farms seven Mount Pleasant neighborhoods specifically — not “the Charleston area.” That is the whole point of this index: one agent who knows which street floods, which floor plan appraises, and what the last eleven sales actually closed at, because he keeps the record himself.
