City of Folly Beach paid parking (ParkFollyBeach program)

Separate from the county park and pier lots. Paid parking runs 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., seven days a week. Rates were reset effective September 1, 2025. Two rate structures: (1) hourly lots, March-September $3/hr or $12 all day, October-February $2.50/hr or $10 all day, applies to most numbered E Arctic and W Ashley lots, Summer Place, 1587 E Ashley, 1673 E Ashley and the Washout; (2) flat-rate lots at 301, 401 and 501 W Ashley and 501 E Arctic, March-September $15 weekdays / $25 weekends and holidays, October-February $10 weekdays / $15 weekends and holidays. On-street paid parking on E Arctic Ave through 5th St E is $3/hr, Mon-Sun 8 a.m.-10 p.m. E Arctic and W Arctic on-street sections are year-round $3/hr or $12 all day. Pay stations take Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover only; no coins. No overnight parking; no parking in paid lots after 10 p.m., or after 11 p.m. at the Washout. Street parking rules are strictly enforced: all four tires off the roadway, park with the flow of traffic, no parking within 15 ft of a hydrant, 20 ft of an intersection, or 30 ft of a stop sign or signal, no parking on dunes or revetments, no diagonal parking unless posted.
