Mount Pleasant STR Public Portal (map of permitted rentals and complaint intake)

The town publishes a public map of every permitted short-term rental. Town page: "Interested citizens can now see short-term rentals (STR) through the STR public portal. The map shows the number of permits issued, the address and STR permit number for all permitted STRs. Additionally, citizens can register their concerns through the portal or by contacting our office at str@tompsc.com." The portal is hosted at str-public-portal.deckard.com/sc-townofmountpleasant and lists a Program Stats figure — "399 Licensed Short-Term Rental Properties" as displayed on 3 September 2026 — plus a complaint portal and the STVR programme phone number (843) 884-1229. It is the town's own published record of which addresses hold a permit, so a specific address can be checked against it.
