The island's single small commercial strip, a few blocks of Middle Street holding the restaurants, bars and handful of shops, plus a convenience store near Jasper Boulevard and Middle Street. Practical notes: restrooms here are for customers only; there are no public restrooms in the district. Middle Street allows parallel parking on one side of the roadway; the same island-wide rule applies — obey posted No Parking signs and keep all four tires off the pavement. Alcohol is prohibited on all streets and boardwalks, so drinks stay inside the establishments. Boundaries are approximate; the Town does not publish a formal district map on its beach pages.
