The City's Front Beach commercial district, on Ocean Boulevard from 10th Avenue to 14th Avenue. The City states it offers public restrooms, parking, restaurants and shops — this is the one stretch of either island with public restrooms, showers and food directly at the sand. Parking here is PAID: on-street marked spaces on Ocean Blvd between 10th and 14th Avenues, $3.00/hour, enforced 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily, March 1 through October 31; pay at a kiosk or by scanning the QR code / texting the code on the sign (there is no app to download), $0.35 convenience fee, and place the kiosk receipt face-up on the dash. Municipal Lots A and B are one block back on Pavilion Drive. Accessible parking is designated at Front Beach and at the Front Beach restrooms. Watch for marked loading zones — a loading zone violation is $200.
