Chartered by Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church and part of the Coastal Carolina Council. Serves scouts in Mount Pleasant and the surrounding area from kindergarten through 5th grade. Structure: dens meet twice a month through the school year and the full pack meets once a month; the pack is most active during the school year. Two family-friendly campouts per year plus a pinewood derby; the scouting year ends in late spring with a Blue and Gold banquet recognizing advancing scouts. New scouts may join at any point in the year. Other Cub Scout packs serving Mount Pleasant in the Coastal Carolina Council's Etiwan District include Pack 9 (founded 1970), Pack 11, Pack 40, Pack 470 and Pack 502; Scouts BSA Troop 502 also operates in Mount Pleasant.
