The town names the chapters it enforces: Chapter 50 (garbage/refuse — improper placement of trash or garbage in public places or on private property); Chapter 93 (nuisances — unsanitary conditions, property maintenance, abandoned vehicles); Chapter 156 (Zoning Code — short-term rentals, accessory dwellings, home businesses, signs, temporary uses). Complaints are filed through the town's OPAL permitting/complaint portal at eody.fa.us6.oraclecloud.com/fscmUI/publicSector.html. The page states that "[d]epending on the type of concern reported, it could take several weeks for the issue to be fully investigated." Exception published on the same page: garbage containers left at the roadside are reported to Public Services at (843) 849-2022 instead.
