The town's biography page states Haynie "was elected Mayor in November 2017 and re-elected in 2021." No separate Mayor's-office hours or proclamation-request procedure is published. Under Town Code § 30.31 the Mayor votes on Council matters; § 30.06 provides that Council elects a Mayor Pro Tempore for a two-year term at the first meeting of the newly constituted Council after each general municipal election.
