Converts the Park West Boulevard / Stockdale Street intersection to a roundabout and builds Mount Pleasant Way multi-use paths along Park Avenue Boulevard and Carolina Park Boulevard. Stated purpose includes improving school arrival and departure operations, plus drainage and safety. Schedule as published (checked Sept 4, 2026): design complete December 2026, begin construction March 2027, complete construction June 2028. Cost $13,215,000. A public update meeting is scheduled Monday, September 14, 2026, 5:00-7:00 PM at Park West Recreation Complex Gymnasium, 1251 Park West Boulevard. Project engineer Rion Longfellow, 843-856-3080.
