CARTA seasonal, fare-free shuttle. 2026 season: every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from Friday, May 22 through Labor Day, Monday, September 7, 2026, with Sunday-schedule service on Memorial Day (Monday, May 25), Independence Day (Saturday, July 4) and Labor Day. Limited-stop: picks up at Towne Centre stop ID #715 on Market Center Boulevard and runs directly to the IOP stop on Ocean Boulevard, then returns. Roughly hourly; Saturday first trip about 9:15 a.m. with last trip from the beach 5:30 p.m.; Sunday first trip about 9:40 a.m. with last trip from the beach 5:55 p.m. Fare-free because of contributions from the Town of Mount Pleasant and the City of Isle of Palms; the fare-free status applies only to this shuttle. Towne Centre partnered with CARTA to provide parking near the stop. Transfers to Routes 40 and 42 at stop #715. Checked Sept 4, 2026.
