Town of Mount Pleasant. The final roadway segment completing what was originally the Hungryneck Boulevard corridor — a parallel route to US 17 and Rifle Range Road, joining Sweetgrass Basket Parkway on the west to the existing Billy Swails Boulevard on the east. Cross-section: two-lane divided roadway, landscaped median, turn lanes, plus a 10-foot multi-use path (a Mount Pleasant Way segment) tying into existing paths on Sweetgrass Basket Parkway and Billy Swails Boulevard. Town page status (checked Sept 4, 2026) reads "currently under construction" while the schedule table lists: design complete July 2025, right-of-way complete, permitting complete, bid December 2025, START CONSTRUCTION June 2026, duration 18 months. Cost estimate $23,100,000. A public hearing was held January 25, 2022 at Town Hall. An Environmental Assessment and Draft Section 4(f) evaluation were approved December 1, 2021. CAUTION: two other Town project pages ("Bowman Road Signal Installation" and "Chuck Dawley at Bowman Road Intersection") display Billy Swails 4B text by error, including a stale $12,568,497 figure ($2,568,497 Town / $10,000,000 federal) and 2020/2022 dates — do not read those as Bowman Road facts.
