Recorded as likely — confirm with the operator before you rely on it.

The tidal inlet separating the two islands, crossed by the SC 703 bridge. SWIMMING IS PROHIBITED. Warning signs are posted on both the Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms sides. The inlet is the funnel where Intracoastal Waterway, Hamlin Sound and Atlantic tidal water converge four times a day, producing multi-directional currents and undertows. Sullivan's Island's town code contains a dedicated section for the prohibited area adjacent to Breach Inlet. Two swimmers drowned there in a single week in May 2025. A commonly cited penalty of up to $1,040 appears on signage and in press reports; the exact figure was not confirmed against the Town's published ordinance text (the code library blocked automated access).

Jim farms seven Mount Pleasant neighborhoods specifically — not “the Charleston area.” That is the whole point of this index: one agent who knows which street floods, which floor plan appraises, and what the last eleven sales actually closed at, because he keeps the record himself.
