As of 2026-09-04, no re-entry pass, hanging tag or decal program for Mount Pleasant residents appears anywhere on the Town of Mount Pleasant website. The Town's Hurricane Preparedness page (tompsc.com/1211) and its Severe Weather / Hurricane Preparedness page (tompsc.com/1503) carry no re-entry section; both defer to SCEMD's Know Your Zone and to Charleston County. Mount Pleasant Police are, however, assigned re-entry Traffic Control Points in the Charleston County Re-Entry Plan at "Hwy 17 North at Ravenel Bridge" and "I-526 at Wando Bridge." This is a material difference from neighbouring Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms, both of which do issue resident re-entry credentials. A Mount Pleasant resident's re-entry credential is, per the county plan, ordinary proof of residence or ownership. A 2017 Town news item (posted June 1, 2017) referred to "color coded armbands to identify their point of origin" for residents evacuated by county-provided bus transport, and stated "It may take several weeks to open all subdivision streets for vehicular access" — that item is nine years old and its armband procedure is not restated on any current Town page.

Jim farms seven Mount Pleasant neighborhoods specifically — not “the Charleston area.” That is the whole point of this index: one agent who knows which street floods, which floor plan appraises, and what the last eleven sales actually closed at, because he keeps the record himself.
