SCEMD publishes the SC Emergency Manager mobile app (Apple App Store, Google Play). Per the 2026 SC Hurricane Guide the app lets a user "View Know Your Zone evacuation maps," "Customize and build a personal emergency plan," and share locations with emergency contacts. SCEMD also operates a Public Information Phone System (PIPS) at 1-866-246-0133, published in the 2026 Guide as "*FOR ALL INFORMATION" and noted as "Only activated as needed" — it is not a standing 24/7 line. Other numbers published in the 2026 Guide: S.C. Department of Public Health Care Line 1-855-472-3432 and Medical Equipment Power Shelters 833-351-9990; SCDOT 855-467-2368 (855-GO-SCDOT); American Red Cross 1-866-438-4636. SCEMD's guidance on alerting names Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) on mobile devices, NOAA Weather Radio, and local TV and radio as reliable sources. Checked 2026-09-04.

Jim farms seven Mount Pleasant neighborhoods specifically — not “the Charleston area.” That is the whole point of this index: one agent who knows which street floods, which floor plan appraises, and what the last eleven sales actually closed at, because he keeps the record himself.
