Founded 1993; the first professional hockey team in South Carolina; three Kelly Cup championships (1997, 2001, 2009). Home arena is the North Charleston Coliseum, hockey configuration seats 10,537 (venue maxes above 13,000 for concerts). 2026-27 season opening night is October 17, 2026; the ECHL regular season runs October through mid-April, with Kelly Cup playoffs running into spring. Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster; the club also sells season tickets, a flex plan, a weekender plan, group experiences and birthday parties directly. Approximately 17-19 miles from Mount Pleasant, roughly 25-35 minutes via I-526.
