Men's professional soccer, USL Championship (second tier of US soccer), Eastern Conference. Club founded 1993; 2026 is its 36th year and 15th season in the USL Championship. Home venue is the Patriots Point Soccer Complex, a soccer-specific natural-grass stadium that opened in 2000 and is owned by the College of Charleston; the playing surface is named Ralph Lundy Field, and the Battery have been tenants since 2020. Capacity 3,900, expandable to 5,000. 2026 regular season ran March 7 to October 24; USL Championship playoffs follow into November. Tickets are sold through SeatGeek, the club's exclusive digital ticketing provider; single-game prices ran $15-$40 in 2026 and rise on matchday. Season memberships, group tickets and student tickets are sold separately through the club. Parking on site: Black Lot (grass, tailgating, permit only) and Yellow Lot (paved, permit only, has ADA spaces, closest to Gates 2 and 3); public options are the USS Yorktown lot at Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum at $12.50 per vehicle, about a five-minute walk, and the Maroon Lot behind the College of Charleston baseball outfield at $10 per vehicle (mainly staff). All lots open 2.5 hours before gates. The stadium is inside Mount Pleasant town limits, off Coleman Blvd at the foot of the Ravenel Bridge - no bridge crossing required from most of Mount Pleasant.
