Region 5 members: Bishop England, Georgetown, Hanahan, North Charleston, Oceanside Collegiate. (Oceanside moved into Class AAA beginning with the 2024-25 school year.) FACILITIES: 'The Deep' is the official name of the school's multi-sport stadium — named by a student vote to tie in with the Landsharks mascot — and is home to football, soccer, lacrosse and rugby. Shipyard Park is the baseball complex and multi-purpose facility (five regulation turf baseball fields with bleachers and covered seating, four press boxes, a 17,500 sq ft climate-controlled indoor training facility, a two-story 6,481 sq ft concessions/dining building, ticket building). Also the OCA Gym on campus. The school additionally lists Johnson Hagood Stadium, Park West Recreation Complex, Carolina Park Complex and the Mt. Pleasant Tennis Complex among its venues. DOCUMENTED STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS (historical fact): girls soccer won its sixth consecutive state title in May 2026, taking the Class 3A championship 4-0 over St. Joseph's; football won the Class AA state championship in 2023 and the Class AAA state championship in 2024.
