MPRD Swim Teams — Minnows, Sharks, Kingfish and Piranhas

Town swim programs at the R.L. Jones Pool and Park West Pool. Minnows (ages 5-12) is a developmental, non-competitive stroke-and-endurance program with occasional friendly meets. Sharks (ages 12-18) is a non-competitive fitness and technique program with four practices a week. Kingfish is the summer swim league for ages 5-18, running May through June with optional meets — at R.L. Jones in May and Park West in June. Piranhas is a Special Olympics swim team open to competitive and non-competitive swimmers, running February through April at R.L. Jones. Palmetto Masters serves adults 18 and older through U.S. Masters Swimming.
