MPRD FUNdamental Sports (ages 4-8)

Entry-level introductory sports run by Mount Pleasant Recreation Department for the youngest players. Fall and spring soccer U5-U8 (coed for the youngest groups, separated by gender for 7-8 year-olds) at Park West or Moultrie Middle School; coed flag football in 5-6 and 7-8 divisions with no tackling; winter basketball for ages 5-7 (coed at 5-6, boys at 7) at multiple gyms; and summer T-ball (ages 4-5) and coach pitch (ages 6-7) running June through July. MPRD provides game jerseys and equipment. Typical registration windows: fall late June-mid July, winter late September-mid October, spring late December-mid January, summer late March-early April.
