Open daily 9am-5pm with last entry at 3:30pm; closed Thanksgiving and December 25, reduced 9am-1pm on December 24. General admission uses dynamic pricing: tickets are sold through a dated online calendar up to 60 days ahead and each date is priced by demand, with weekends, holidays and school-break weeks at the top of the range; all ticket purchases must be made online. Age bands are adults 13+, children 3-12, toddlers 2 and under free. Published fixed rates for structured visits: group rate (minimum 15 paid people, self-guided) adults 13+ $27.95, children 3-12 $22.95, toddlers free; field trip rate (minimum 10 paid attendees, self-guided) students toddler through 8th grade $11, students 9th-12th grade $15, one complimentary chaperone per 10 students and additional chaperones $15. Science at Sunset is an educator-led evening program with Scout badge opportunities, available Sunday-Thursday 6-9pm: children 3-12 $40, adults 13+ $30, toddlers free, subject to price minimums. Ray feeding in The Shallows runs daily 10:15am-4pm for $5 while supplies last. Family amenities: a private nursing room with changing table on the second floor next to Kids Coast, changing tables in all restrooms, a family restroom on the second floor, free first-come wheelchair checkout with photo ID deposit, and two elevators with wheelchair-accessible exhibits. Free admission for South Carolina certified K-12 teachers with proof of eligibility. $40 Angelfish Family memberships for South Carolina residents qualifying via SNAP/EBT, digital WIC, or SC Voucher Program letter plus photo ID (P-EBT not accepted). A CCPL library card can also borrow an aquarium pass, though holds on those passes are currently suspended.
