SCHSL AFFILIATION: Class AAAAA (5A), Region 6 under the SCHSL 2026-2028 realignment. Region 6 members: Berkeley, Cane Bay, Carolina Forest, Goose Creek, Socastee, Wando. SPORTS BY SEASON (SCHSL seasons) — Fall: football (varsity/JV/B-team), boys volleyball, girls volleyball, boys and girls cross country, boys and girls swimming, girls tennis, girls golf, competitive cheer and sideline cheer (JV/varsity). Winter: boys and girls basketball, boys and girls wrestling. Spring: baseball, softball, boys and girls soccer, boys and girls lacrosse, boys and girls track and field, boys tennis, boys golf. FACILITIES: Home football, soccer, lacrosse and track events are at Charleston County District 2 Stadium, the district stadium on the Wando campus (opened 2018, about 6,000 seats, synthetic turf, digital scoreboard, air-conditioned press boxes and halftime rooms, field house). DOCUMENTED STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS (historical fact): girls tennis won the SCHSL Class AAAAA Division I team title on Nov. 8, 2025 — reported as the second straight and 10th in program history; boys tennis won a Class AAAAA Division I title reported as the program's ninth; girls soccer won the Class AAAAA Division I title in May 2026; the swimming program has multiple SCHSL Class AAAAA team titles, including girls swimming in 2021-22; boys cross country won a Class AAAAA state title in 2022.
