Bishop England High School

Parochial: Catholic diocesan college-preparatory high school of the Diocese of Charleston, founded 1915, on its Daniel Island campus since 1998. NOT physically in the Town of Mount Pleasant — it is across the Wando on Daniel Island, though Roman Catholic high school in the Diocese of Charleston. Grades 9-12; the admissions page states admission is open to students seeking grades 9, 10 or 11, with 12th-grade admission limited to families relocating from out of the area, and a placement test required for 9th and 10th grade applicants. Tuition is charged; the school publishes a Tuition & Financial Assistance section and offers scholarships (no figure quoted here).
